About

A New York native, I was born to parents who each had their own share of problems. As a child I was taken away from my family and my parents split up. At first, it was only my older brother, myself, and my younger sister. We had been moved around from foster homes and group homes countlessly.  I remember the day that the system tried to split us up, and the moment they did we wreaked havoc, then ran away. Sounds bad I know, but we were inseparable. We were, and still are all we have. After that day we never got split up again and vowed  that we'd do what we have to do, on our own, take control of our lives and make the outcome we want. Years passed and we had been to so many different homes, and lived with so many different families and young individuals. We eventually had got adopted by our blood uncle who took us in and helped us get more situated with school and sports. My brother and I, now much older set out to find jobs, did and started supplying ourselves with food and other necessities. Few more years go by and my older brother had got diagnosed with Leukemia. Long story short, he graduates high school and then eventually passed due to his illness. That had to be my breaking point. He had always been my best friend, and inspiration to be great. As if life weren't already hard? Growing up a black kid in America from the "Ghetto," and in the system fending for himself.

Much of my work is inspired by a real life events that had occurred in the past, and a lot of my work just symbolizes what i stand for. Originally, I’d intended to go to school and play football, then eventually become an anesthesiologist if i hadn't made it to the league. My freshmen year in high school i had suffered an injury and couldn't play until the following year. When i went back to play a lot of things were going on in my life, i had gotten more into my arts since i could not play sports and started dancing and dj'ing. The dance group i had been apart of had gotten a few calls to do shows on BET and in other theaters and schools. Sadly, one of the television events was on the same day as one of my football games, and yes it was a very hard choice for me to choose which. At the time, my brother was in the hospital and in my head I'm just like, if i go on tv at least he can see me on there. So i ended up choosing that show over the game and got kicked off the team despite skill level and everything else. i can see why the coach did what he did and i wasn't upset. I never explained why i did what i did, just because it was personal and i was just nervous. Ever since then i just decided to follow my own path and make a name for myself. I decided to not specialize in any one category because i believe i am a man of many talents . I intend to continue pushing the boundaries of all art forms until my finger bones dry out.
